My husband and children awoke this morning to the shrieks of a crazed woman in the midst of an all out verbal brawl with a Bank of America customer service representative. Fighting to the death for the refund of $70.00, which for me is a week's worth of groceries. I didn't win that round, but after two more rounds I finally won. I got my $70.00 back. Now, although it's still light outside, I NEED some Moscato wine and dark chocolate to calm me down. I wish I could say I'm using meditation and yoga for my sanity today, but I can't. It's a huge glass of wine and bits of dark chocolate.

I really don't like talking to those people on the phone. For the most part they never really want to help. And I hate it when I end up getting mad and screaming at the person on the other end. It's rare that you find someone that seems genuinely willing to listen.
I have dropped many a caffeine deprived F-Bomb on the good folks at Chase-even when I worked there!
In the representatives' defense they're the messengers. Coming from someone whose been behind the desk in finance, put your money in the first empty coffee can you have access to.
Wine and good chocolate are to be savored not scoffed in a homicidal rage, but I understand and I hope you feel better!
Argh! I feel your pain! I've been on both side of that conversation -- pretty ugly on either side.
And chocolate makes everything better!

I realize that they, hell we all are, just cogs in a big business machine. It's when the peons act like they have the power to condescend to me, that I go nutso.
I am so glad that you won that fight. I don't think I have ever had a bottle of Moscato, I did try it at a wine tasking I think. It is a desert wine, yes?
I lift my glass to you as I sit and sip on my Barefoot Zinfandel!
These are definitely "the times". I almost had to go a couple of rounds of my own at my local Curves today. A place that is suppose to be for women, by women... to HELP women, NOT to overdraw the accounts of women by processing their payments weeks AFTER the automatic payment date.
Can you imagine your friend jumping over a counter? LOL.
@Bar. B. Hilarious. Do they think these are the times for bull like that.
$70.00, $7.00 or 70 cents.
It's YOUR money! They better STOP playing!
I HATE BANK OF AMERICA.
that is all.
The worst thing somebody can do is mess with my money so I definitely feel your frustration.
Glad you were able to get it back.
Now you got me cravin' some dark chocolate!! :-)
I'm glad you won too. Those companies and their "service" suck. Anywho, having your wine and dark chocolate can be meditative :)
Hi Jewelry RockStar,
Thanks for stopping by little place in cyberspace. Love the jewelry and will definitely come by again.
I feel your pain and agree totally with the "fight to the death". A few times I've had to do the same when charges appeared on my card that I didn't make.
Peace!

Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. Well done! :)
Ewa--don't play with the dollars. Ever. Whatever tongue lashing you doled out, I'm sure whoever got it had it coming. I hope the wine and chocolate made it ALL better!
Mmmmmm..wine and chocolate! Shoot, I don't care what time of day it is -- when big red calls, I answer! I was drinking wine at 10am on saturday morning, lol!
Moscato is my fav girlie... if you like that you will probably also like Jaillance... try it!
